28-October-2007 ADIOS Version 8.0q is a pre-release of ADIOS 8, designed to run within Windows using open source virtualization software QEMU. See http://os.cqu.edu.au/iso to download.

28-September-2007 ADIOS Version 7.3-1 was created to run ADIOS CDs within Windows using open source virtualization software QEMU with the KQEMU accelerator. This version is similar to ADIOS 7.6 except it is running an older 2.6.18.2-adios kernel. The ADIOS DVD has both kernels which can be selected from the boot menu. 4-September-2007 The OS School DVD is a combination of the ADIOS DVD and the OSWINS DVD. The ADIOS DVD version 7.6 now uses kernel 2.6.22.5-adios and should work on most intel PCs. The OSWINS DVD content is also available via the CDs OSWINS and OSWKIDS. Download the ISOs from http://os.cqu.edu.au/pub/iso.

24-May-2007 ADIOSWEBS 7.4 is the Security Enhanced Linux version of ADIOSWEB. This version comes with OpenOffice instead of Abiword and Gnumeric which results in the ISO being 400MBs in size. ADIOSDVD 7.4 was also released today and Eclipse now works on this version. Download from http://os.cqu.edu.au/pub/iso.

22-May-2007 ADIOS 7.4 has been released with kernel 2.6.20 and with changes in the default startup. If you want the run option menu to appear select "m" on the first screen. Download from http://os.cqu.edu.au/pub/iso.

21-Feb-2007 ADIOS 7.2 is available at http://os.cqu.edu.au/pub/iso. Several improvements have been made to each of the CDs and the DVD.

7-Feb-2007 ADIOSDVD 7.1 is now online at http://os.cqu.edu.au/pub/iso. The DVD version has nearly 10Gbytes of files with 20% of these files containing documentation, which is searchable using swish-e via the apache webserver.

ADIOS 7.1 includes more tools and fixes, ADIOSKIDS is an educational version, ADIOSIDE is the programmers version, and ADIOSENG includes engineering and mathematical tools. 16-Oct-2006 The Open Source Taxonomy web site has been developed using a modified version of the Drupal Content Management System (CMS). A CMS was chosen so that staff and students can contribute to the taxonomy database. The objective of this web site is to provide reviews on open source software.
